Senators returned to the Chamber of Deputies with amendments a government amendment that is to reintroduce electronic sales records from next year. The upper chamber primarily wants to change the rules for tax exemption of employee health benefits. Senate committees also proposed changes to other parts of the law, including the removal of non-cash payments from the records.
The Senate wants to abolish the limit for exemption from income tax for employee health benefits in the Act on the Renewal of Electronic Sales Records (EET). According to the Senate, EET should not apply to non-cash transfers or the sale of agricultural products directly from farmers.
