Scientists at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands have developed a method that allows three-dimensional ice structures to be printed from "supercooled" water. The technique takes advantage of evaporation cooling in a vacuum chamber and allows creating from small Christmas trees to tilted shapes without the need for support structures.
