Firefighters are working in the Danube after a World War II explosive device was found. Flood Road is also expected to be closed.
The Hungarian Defence Forces' explosives squad reported on Monday that a suspected World War II explosive device was found in the Danube, near Árasztó út, in Budapest's XXII. district. For the duration of the explosives operation, the police will drain and close off a length of about two hundred meters of the river and the road next to it. The explosive device will be removed by explosives divers.
