SAS is taking what the company describes as urgent cost measures to meet the skyrocketing costs of aviation fuel. The company is cutting spending in the pursuit of lower costs, Expressen can reveal. This means, among other things, that passengers can expect canceled flights. "If a cost can be avoided, postponed or reduced, it should be done," writes outgoing CEO Anko van der Werff in an emergency letter to staff.
