On Saturday 19th September, 18 students from the Sixth Form at King Edward VI School (Stratford) won the annual Warwick Avon Rotary Dragon Boat Festival, raising over £1,000 for Myton Hospice and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The team, named ‘Row to Paradise’, raced in four races against teams of local businesses, charities and dragon-boat enthusiasts, ultimately securing a winning time of just 1 minute and 12 seconds on the 200m course.
