VIENNA. As the report on the liquidation of COFAG sent to Parliament on Wednesday shows, more than 11,700 audits have been carried out so far, with around 2,400 checks in the last six months alone.
By the end of June 2026, the Ministry of Finance had established reimbursement claims for wrongly received benefits amounting to EUR 158.8 million in the review of Covid 19 grants. According to the report on the liquidation of COFAG sent to Parliament on Wednesday, more than 11,700 audits have been carried out so far. In the past six months alone, there have been around 2,400 inspections.
