While there has been a lot of public talk about scooter accidents recently, what happened in Tallinn on Tuesday once again reminded us how important it is to be careful in traffic. The seemingly unthinkable happened: a car hit a traffic controller at city speed, killing him on the spot.

At 12:00 today, the police received a report that a Mercedes-Benz car had hit a man who was regulating traffic at the intersection of Tööstuse and Kalaranna streets in North Tallinn.
