Officers were called to the single-vehicle collision near Theydon Bois shortly after 10.40pm on Sunday, Essex Police said. The force said it had been reported that a car had left the B172 and entered a wooded area. The driver, a 17-year-old boy, and a passenger, a 19-year-old man, died despite the efforts of ambulance first responders, police said.
