The Nãm, held in 50% by Delta Ventures, has opened a new factory in Odivelas that will triple the production capacity of mushrooms from coffee beans, to about 150 tons per year. The unit represents an investment of about 1 million euros
N m, held in 50% by Delta Ventures, gains scale. New unit can re-use the equivalent of 15 million es of "expressed" per year, aiming to be the largest urban mushroom production in Europe.
Nãm invested about a million euros in the new mushroom factory in Odivelas, allowing to raise the production capacity to 150 tons per year, ten times more compared to the production of the previous one.
No Fungi Factory has inaugurated the one that wants to become one of the largest urban mushroom productions in Europe, in Odivelas, wanting to demonstrate that it is possible to produce large-scale food in large cities. Company has the support of the Nabeiro - Delta Cafés Group.
New factory does not use Delta coffee beans to produce mushrooms and should reuse 150 tons of this by-product per year.
