- Cain, a qualified doctor for more than 15 years and a GP for 8, described herself as a "caring and professional doctor" while maintaining her medical practice alongside running Norfolk Sky Aesthetics.

- The Crown Prosecution Service decided to prosecute Mark Cain for murder following the investigation, while the medical centre apologized, stating, "We apologise for the disruption and appreciate your patience and understanding."
- Mark Cain is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on October 7 after being remanded in custody; patients with appointments will be contacted about alternative arrangements as soon as possible.
