- Advance Tax payments reached Rs 5.22 lakh crore, marking a 16.18% increase, with advance corporate tax payments growing 18% to over Rs 4.16 lakh crore and non-corporate payments rising 9.24% to Rs 1.06 lakh crore.
- These figures encompass taxes paid by companies, individuals, Hindu Undivided Families, and associations of persons , reflecting broad participation from bodies of individuals and local authorities across the fiscal year.
