Over 50 people arrived at the River Walk Conservation Area off of Cromesett Road to identify several of plants and animals in the Wareham wilderness during the Wareham Land Trust's BioBlitz on Saturday, Aug. 1. A BioBlitz is a community science event where volunteers, scientists and nature enthusiasts work together for 24 hours to identify and document as many plants, animals, fungi and other living organisms as possible.
