The program contemplates the expansion of operating capacities in front of the increase in the demand for tickets and will be financed, in part, from own resources of the company. The plan, which involves investments of USD 1.5 billion, was presented this Friday and is part of the program of expansion and modernization of the terminals managed by Aeropuertos Argentina.
The private company that manages the country's 35 airports will take forward an ambitious construction plan over the next 5 years, with the aim of accompanying the growth of the number of passengers and the expansion of the airport activity.
The initiative seeks to prepare the airports for an 114% increase in the number of passengers over the next 40 years, in what the company defined as “the most important investment in Argentine history”, with more space to receive flights and improvements in terminals. Read more
