Apple’s CarPlay now supports five major AI chatbots—ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, Meta AI, and newly added Claude—directly from the vehicle’s infotainment screen. The feature, built on iOS 18.4 and expanding with iOS 19, lets drivers access natural conversations for information, planning, and entertainment while minimizing distraction. This marks a significant step toward more intelligent, conversational in-car experiences.
Another chat app on four wheels: After ChatGPT, Grok and Perplexitiy, the Anthropic AI is now also available in CarPlay vehicles.
