Shopping for fast fashion in Europe could potentially become more expensive. The European textile association federation, Euratex, has proposed an import fee of 10 euros, or approximately USD 11.60, for fashion products entering the European Union (EU). In France, the government even began implementing a special levy on ultrafast fashion products on Tuesday (September 2). This levy could eventually reach nearly 20 euros per item of clothing.
