Oct 7 (Reuters) - Zealand Pharma said on Wednesday its experimental drug helped people who are overweight or obese and have type 2 diabetes lose up to 9.2% of their body weight in a mid-stage trial. The Danish company is developing it with Roche.
Denmark's Zealand Pharma has presented positive results for its potential treatment of overweight and obesity with the amylin analogue petrelintide, which is being developed together with Switzerland's Roche, according to a press release.
