Yubol takes LPGA Tour lead into the weekend in Portland
Yubol held a 12-under total after seven birdies and one bogey, while Sophia Schubert and Pajaree Anannarukarn stayed one stroke back.
On Friday, Arpichaya Yubol shot a consecutive 6-under 66 at Columbia-Edgewater Country Club, taking the lead in The Standard Portland Classic with a 12-under 132 total.
Seeking an LPGA Tour victory, the 24-year-old Yubol maintained steady play with just one bogey across two rounds after finishing runner-up in two events this year.
Thailand's Pajaree Anannarukarn and Sophia Schubert carded 66s, while South Korea's Hye-Jin Choi shot a 67, leaving all three players one stroke behind Yubol.
Mariel Galdiano dropped to a tie for 12th at 8 under after a 71, while 13 players finished at 3-under 141 to barely make the cut.
Lexi Thompson missed the cut with rounds of 72 and 73 after announcing she and husband Max Provost are expecting a baby in February. Yubol leads with two rounds remaining.
