WSP Global is continuing its efforts to purchase the Dutch engineering company Arcadis NV, even after last month's rejection of its last offer of approximately 7.5 billion, which was considered too low.
Arcadis should no longer keep the door closed to Canadian competitor WSP Global and enter into talks with the company about an acquisition. This is the opinion of the Dutch Securities and Exchange Commission (VEB), it reports to BNR. Arcadis rejected two bids from WSP last month, but the Canadian company announced today that it is still interested in acquiring Arcadis.
