New York Governor Kathy Hochul said she was appalled by the actions of Cornell University police and other authorities who dismissed the group rape complaint against a student.
The case dates back to October 2024 and involves a student from Cornell's elite university. The young woman, who was at the time 20 years old, claims to have been raped by seven colleagues on one of the campuses of the institution.
