With Houlton and Willow River schools set to close, community says goodbye

A large crowd spanning multiple generations — alumni, students, teachers current and retired, parents with young kids and grandkids — bid an occasionally tearful farewell Sunday to Houlton and Willow River Elementary, two schools with more than a century of history that are set to close next year.
