The general commander of the Bolivian Police, Adrián Álvarez, said that Rubén Aparicio Villarroel was one of the first arrested and later provided information that would have linked to high authorities of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. From Aparicio's statement, the police executed in Santa Cruz the apprehensions of Mariaca and Zeballos. Both are investigated in relation to cases related to Marset.
The police obtained information after the arrest of Major Rubén Aparicio.
