The relationship between Del Castillo and the Marset case had already been the subject of public statements by the drug trafficker during 2023, when he made accusations against the then government minister.
The Secretary of Citizen Security of Santa Cruz, Jorge Santiestevan, also confirmed last night the apprehension of a former government minister, in the midst of investigations related to Attorney General Roger Mariaca and the drug trafficker Sebastian Marset. Unofficially, the possible arrest had initially been reported, while awaiting information about the identity and legal status of the apprehended person.
