- Attica remains the epicenter of this year's surge, accounting for around 166 of the total infections; Thessaly and Central Macedonia follow with 52 cases each, with the EODY describing Attica's virus circulation as "particularly intense."
- Of the 290 total cases, 199 involved neurological symptoms affecting the central nervous system , including encephalitis and meningitis. Current hospitalizations include 63 patients with 32 in intensive care units and 182 already discharged.
- On Thursday, the Cyprus health ministry reported six confirmed West Nile virus infections with two suspected cases under investigation, stating, "We are not on alert but continue to monitor the situation closely."
- The EODY has designated additional municipalities as "high risk" based on epidemiological data, even where no human cases occurred, noting that the geographical spread of the virus cannot be predicted with certainty.
