Twenty migrants deported from the United States arrived in Liberia on Thursday, the first group of an eventual 1,200 deportees that the West African country says it will receive from the U.S. under a new deal.
The Trump administration continues to build an international network of countries that take in people deported from the US. Since Thursday, Liberia is also part of this network. "As soon as they are out of American hands, you can do whatever you want with them. Hands washed."
