ICE begins deporting Haitians who lost TPS back to homeland

- Customs Enforcement plans to increase flights to twice a week, returning about 250 Haitians weekly, while protections for about 170,000 people from Salvador are set to expire in September.
- Both Republicans and Democrats have criticized the policy, warning that forcing Haitians out of the United States will cause worker shortages in healthcare, as protections for roughly 600,000 Venezuelans have already expired.
