What to know as burn bans, evacuation orders are set to be lifted in northern Ontario
A restricted fire zone (RFZ) that has been in effect for northwestern Ontario and a small portion of the northeast since July 15 is set to be lifted Thursday morning by Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), effective at 12:01 a.m. ET.
