CANIK, which holds the title of being the first private sector company in Turkey to integrate domestically produced weapons into aircraft, has showcased its years of experience in Azerbaijan. With this project, which was simulated and successfully tested at its facilities in Samsun, the M3 FALCON, one of the few weapons in the world capable of firing 1200 rounds per minute, was integrated into Mi-17 platforms.
CANiK has integrated its M3 FALCON heavy machine gun and FALCON FLEX 50 mounting system into the Azerbaijani Air Force's Mi-17 helicopters. Having completed flight testing, the systems are expected to be delivered this year, enhancing the helicopters' firepower against current threats.
