A box truck caught fire right at the entrance of the rest area of KM 678 Toll Kertosono leading to Surabaya on Thursday (8/10/2026) evening, approximately at 7:30pm. In a video sent by Eka Wahyu, one of the listeners of Radio Suara Surabaya, it appears that the burning truck closes the entrance access to the rest area. The fire was also seen soaring.
