Five people were arrested for the theft in September of two paintings from the Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer, on the French Riviera, a source close to the investigation reported on Wednesday.
Five people have been arrested on suspicion of stealing two works of art by Auguste Renoir in a heist in France last month.
Among the arrested are said to be the two burglars. The prosecutor's office did not want to comment.
