The U.S. officially removed two Belarusian companies from the sanctions list and published the notice on the website of the United States Ministry of Finance.
Agreement on the lifting of the relevant restrictions was announced earlier on the basis of negotiations held in Minsk by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, with representatives of the US Presidential Team Donald Trump, headed by John Cole, Special Envoy for Belarus.
In the U.S., two Belarusian organizations, the Lakopaska OAO and Bellesboomprom, were removed from the OFAC sanctions list.
The U.S. Department of External Assets Control has officially removed "Lakopaska" and "Bellesboomprom" from the sanctions list, and the relevant management notice is dated September 17, and the Special Envoy of the President of the United States, John Cole, announced the lifting of sanctions on Wednesday in Minsk.
