The HZJZ also stated last week that according to the tests carried out so far, the Expert Commission did not determine the indicators of pollution of public water supply systems associated with the illegal waste landfill in Bilajska Street in Gospić, as well as the presence of contamination by leachate in deep groundwater.

The Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ) announced on Tuesday that a new extraordinary sampling of water from public water supply systems in the Lika-Senj County area, conducted on August 19 in cooperation with the Lika-Senj County Institute of Public Health, confirmed that the water is safe for health.
