Agility Robotics unveiled Digit 5, the new humanoid robot for large-scale industrial work.
On September 15th, American company Agility Robotics announced a new model of its general-purpose humanoid robot, "Digit 5." Its key feature is a design that allows it to work at close range to humans without the safety fences required for previous models, and the company anticipates increased deployment in manufacturing and logistics.
Agility Robotics presented Digit 5, a new generation of its industrial humanoid robot capable of evolving without physical barriers alongside the employees of a warehouse or factory. This machine lifts up to 22.7 kg repeatedly, recharges in nine minutes and must cover only the entire supply chain, from the unloading of the goods to their shipment.
