Woman Accused of Sexually Assaulting Vulnerable Student in Hamilton
Police say Karly Tripp faces sexual assault, voyeurism and death threat charges after allegedly using her school role to access a vulnerable student.

- In Sept. 2025, the victim's family believed Tripp was a qualified respite worker, allowing her to meet the student outside her school role, where investigators allege the offences occurred during these private interactions.
- Police report some of Tripp's credentials were false, and while she currently remains incarcerated on unrelated charges, investigators believe she may have targeted vulnerable persons through her school employment.
- Investigators believe Tripp may have targeted other vulnerable persons, and the Hamilton Police Sex Crimes Unit suggests there may be additional victims requiring identification and support.
