Study shows nearly 10,000 vans were stolen last year
A total of 9,522 vans, worth about £77m, were reported stolen last year, with three in five never recovered, according to a new study from Direct Line. These figures equate to a van theft every 55 minutes. The number of thefts from vans has plummeted in 2025. This is shown by new figures from the Danish National Police, Tekniq writes in a press release. Thus, 903 fewer thefts from vans were reported than the year before, which corresponds to a decrease of around 20 percent.
