Vehicle Production Falls -10.8% in ‘Turbulent’ Market

UK car production rose for the second consecutive month in July, up 5.6% to 69,127 units. Commercial vehicle (CV) output, however, fell -81.1%, as a result of plant restructuring and an unfavourable comparison with a strong 17-year high July 2024 performance.
