The Eurometropole of Strasbourg announced this Thursday, 8 October, to delay by one year the application of the Low Emissions Zone (ZFE) for Crits Air 3. According to the City, 39,000 vehicles are still registered with this tablet.
The Eurometropole of Strasbourg wants to push back a year from the ban on a certain category of vehicles. Some 40,000 cars are affected by this new suspension.
While Crit-Air 3 vehicles were to be banned on 1 January 2027, the Strasbourg Eurometropole will initiate a procedure to shift their one-year ban. The executive invokes the lack of automated control, insufficient aid and the need to continue the dialogue. The territory comprises nearly 39,000 Crit-Air 3 vehicles.
The Eurometropolis of Strasbourg is pushing back the ban on Crit'Air 3 stickers on its territory until 2028, as part of the Low Emission Zone (ZFE).
