MEPs confirmed the agreement reached last week between the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on simplifying the rules on corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence. Under the agreement, reporting on social and environmental aspects will only apply to companies with more than 1,000 employees and a turnover of more than €450 million.
