Man seriously injured in Near West Side shooting
<p>A man was seriously injured during a shooting on the Near West Side Tuesday afternoon, according to Chicago police.</p><p>The man, 23, was standing near an alley in the 600 block of West Roosevelt Road at 3:58 p.m. when a person approached him and fired shots, police said. He was shot in the chest and twice in the leg, and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.</p><p>No one is in custody.</p>
