Ram Gopal Varma’s Police Company shoot was stalled for nearly five hours in Versova on Monday after FWICE-affiliated technicians and daily-wage workers refused to work over `1.32 crore in pending dues dating back nearly nine years. The standoff ended after `1.11 crore was transferred to FWICE. The association says the payments related to workers across several departments and had repeatedly sought clearance from Varma before halting the shoot.
