State tax relief reduces Grangeville school levy burden

GRANGEVILLE — Grangeville School District No. 246 property owners will pay significantly less than the full amount of the district’s voter-approved supplemental levy this year because of state property tax relief, according to Superintendent Amanda Bush.

School district’s tax rate stays at $0.8969

Property in the Schulenburg ISD will be taxed at the same rate as last year following action by the Board of Trustees at a special meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
