Russia’s Central Election Commission has removed the Yabloko party from ballots for the election to the State Duma, the lower house of Russia’s parliament, the Russian news agency Interfax reported.
Withdrawal is preferred after the Supreme Court rejected the appeal filed by the training against his expulsion
The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation rejected the appeal of the Yabalo party in the case of its withdrawal from the upcoming elections to the State Duma; the Court's decision of 10 August remained unchanged and entered into force.
The only Russian party against the war in Ukraine saw the Supreme reject all its arguments. Historical leader Shlosberg was sentenced to 11 years in prison on the same day.
The Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) has removed information about the non-parliamentary opposition party Yabloko from the ballot for the State Duma (lower house of the Russian parliament) elections. TASR reports this based on the Meduza news website, which refers to the Interfax agency.
The CEC unanimously decided at the meeting to remove the "Apple" list from the federal ballot for the elections to the State. This follows from the broadcast of the meeting. The numbering of the remaining parties on the ballot remains the same, i.e. after "One Russia" under number one, the third was immediately followed by LDPR.
