Ricardo Quintela extended for 60 days the freezing of transportation, electricity, water and connectivity rates in the province. He recently re-launched the quasi-currency "Chacho" and warned that when he returns to Peronism the government will expropriate what has been privatized.
Ricardo Quintela extended the suspension of increases in electricity, water, transport and connectivity. The decision is made in a context of growing confrontation with the national government.
The measure keeps urban passenger transport and electric power, as well as water and sanitation and connectivity unchanged until October 31. The governor also extended the extraordinary 20% reduction in social housing quotas. Read more
