Body found in search for missing Yorkshire teenager who was swept out to sea on family holiday in Wales
Dyfed-Powys Police said the boy was one of three people in difficulty, and two returned safely to shore.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed a body was found during the search for a 15-year-old boy who got into difficulty at Marloes Sands, Milford Haven, on Sunday, August 30.
Three individuals initially encountered difficulty at the beach, though two were able to return safely to shore; the teenager visiting from Yorkshire remained missing.
Teams from the Coastguard and the RNLI launched a major search operation at Marloes Sands, a location within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park known for challenging sea conditions.
Police confirmed the active search operation was stood down on September 2, noting the death is not currently being treated as suspicious and formal identification is pending.
The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day to offer confidential support on 116 123, as support has been offered to the boy's family following the incident.
