Poland is undergoing one of the fastest demographic transformations in Europe. It's not just about population decline. According to Eurostat, no European Union country recorded a greater increase in the share of people aged 65 and over between 2005 and 2025 than Poland. The Central Statistical Office warns that the simultaneous depopulation and rapid aging of the population will increasingly impact the labor market, pensions, and healthcare.
