New Community-Based Programming Pilot Will Bring Dementia Respite Care Closer to Home for Rural Areas
The $100,000 pilot will bring weekly four-hour respite sessions and caregiver support to rural communities with limited access to center-based programs.
Funded by the Alzheimer’s Association, the Southern Maine Agency on Aging will test an efficient model to support people living with dementia and their caregivers.
