Peru native Frank Vlastnik recalls Bob Mackie’s life story in ‘The Art of Bob Mackie’

Bob Mackie, world-renowned designer, died Sept. 14, at 87, in Palm Springs, California, due to pneumonia. Frank Vlastnik, who grew up in Peru, is the co-author of “The Art of Bob Mackie,” which chronicles Mackie’s sketches, costumes and career through his own words.
