Telangana food safety authorities, along with Hyderabad police, conducted a special inspection drive at 14 dairy product manufacturing and trading units in Hyderabad and adjoining areas amid concerns over adulteration and unhygienic practices.
As part of public health protection, Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TGSAFE) officials conducted inspections on the manufacturing and selling of paneer and other dairy products. 12 special teams inspected a total of 14 dairy units in the Hyderabad core urban area and surrounding districts.
