- Indian Immunologicals Ltd confirmed the vials were not theirs, identifying 17 discrepancies in packaging and QR codes compared to genuine samples, while four individuals have been arrested by Delhi Police in connection with the case.
- On August 27, the Drugs Controller General of India issued a nationwide alert directing state drug controllers to strictly monitor the movement and availability of batch KE25012 across the country.
