Oak Island splashpad to reduce hours amid worsening drought conditions

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Oak Island is reducing operating hours at its popular splashpad as officials work to conserve water during Brunswick County’s ongoing Mandatory Water Conservation Alert.
