The listed bridge over the Elbe in Nymburk is undergoing extensive reconstruction for almost 328 million crowns. Central Bohemian councilors have approved a tender for a contractor. The first works will begin this autumn under the river and will not significantly restrict traffic for now. According to current plans, the bridge will be completely closed in 2028.
